5 year old Funnies

Where has the time gone?!

It's been forever since I recorded a few funnies

from our very amazing, crazy life. :)

Recently our little newly 5 year old has acquired a new skill set.

Talkin' back.

Oh, yeh.

It's here....

But when he says things like,

"You know? I could get you fired." to his Papa...

or

"You're worm poop." to me...

{granted, this was right after learning about compost,

and that it's basically- you guessed it- worm poop. ha!}

It's really hard to keep a straight face, and discipline this new "skill".

The fired comment has made me giggle all week so far.

Everytime I think about it,

about what that could possibly mean to a little 5 year old

Preacher's Kid- PK- as they're fondly called sometimes...

Oh. my. goodness.

Watch out Sunday School teachers. haha.

Thankfully, it's really not a terrible habit *yet*.

It's just an occasional response, usually after a moment of frustration,

or friction in the parent/child relationship.

Thank God for giving us this brilliant-minded, quick-witted child,

who gives us things to laugh about,

even when he's talking back.
